Software Developer - Frontend/Full Stack

Salary: £45,000 - 55,000 per year

Requirements

• We require 2+ years of professional experience in frontend or full stack software development.
• We look for a keen eye for detail.
• We need experience with frontend frameworks; we use Vue.js and Angular.js.
• We require experience with frontend testing tools.
• We need familiarity with TypeScript.
• We require experience with version control.
• We expect a strong understanding of REST APIs.
• We expect a strong understanding of building reusable components.
• We value experience with AI coding tools.
• We require proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe, or Sketch.
• We expect an understanding of design systems and component libraries.
• We need a solid grasp of typography, colour theory, and visual hierarchy.
• We expect knowledge of UX principles, including user flows, wireframing, and prototyping.
• We require awareness of accessibility standards, including WCAG, semantic HTML, and ARIA.

Responsibilities

• We will have you maintain, improve, and expand the functionality of our PQS portal and related software products.
• We will have you work closely with our development team.
• The role is primarily focused on design and front-end development.
• You will occasionally contribute to backend work.
• You will take a creative lead in shaping our product experience.
