Software Test Engineer

Salary: £100,000 - 101,000 per year

Requirements

• Previous software testing experience in Java and React.
• Experience testing in cloud-based environments, including deployments and configuration of CI/CD pipelines for test runs.
• Experience with Grafana, RabbitMQ or Apache Kafka, API testing, Kubernetes, and SQL databases.

Responsibilities

• We work closely with our software development team.
• We create and execute test plans and test cases for software solutions.
• We review and document test results.
• We develop and maintain automated test scripts.
• We perform end-to-end testing of applications.
• We investigate issues, report bugs, and track defects.
• We test backend systems for message queues.
• We provide automated REST API testing.

We are hiring a Software Test Engineer for a 3-month contract on an outside IR35 basis, with a Manchester/hybrid working arrangement. This is an ASAP start role on market rates, supporting our software development team on a remote project.
