Requirements
- Proven experience delivering large-scale cloud migration programmes
- Experience supporting large-scale application migration programmes from on-premises environments to AWS
- Hands-on experience with EKS, ECS and OpenShift
- Experience designing and documenting high-level and low-level solution designs
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and application migration strategies
- AWS Kiro is desirable
Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and design of a large-scale application migration to AWS
- Produce high-level and low-level solution design documentation
- Provide technical guidance on migrating microservices-based applications
- Design and support container platform solutions using EKS, ECS and OpenShift
- Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to define migration strategies
- Contribute to AWS cost modelling and provide commercial considerations for proposed solutions

We are a leading global IT services provider supporting a large-scale cloud migration programme. This is an initial 3-month contract, offered as remote working, with a rate of £650 to £700 per day inside IR35. We are migrating a portfolio of microservices-based applications from an on-premises cloud environment to AWS, and this role will play a key part in shaping the architecture and delivery approach.
