Data Scientist Consultant

Owning the end-to-end forecasting models, the fully remote Data Scientist Consultant will build and iterate production-grade demand forecasts, validate outputs, and transform data into actionable insights for healthcare operations.

Key responsibilities Build and evaluate production-grade demand and volume forecasts while maintaining model stability Define input data contracts for optimization models and validate solver outputs to ensure feasibility Communicate technical outputs to non-technical users and participate in client conversations to explain model behavior Required qualifications 5+ years of experience in data science or applied analytics Proven experience owning forecasting models in production environments Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience handling large datasets Ability to work with messy data and explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences Experience in healthcare or complex operational environments is preferred
