[Remote] DevOps Engineer (East Coast)

They are seeking a DevOps Engineer to enhance the efficiency of their Sales Engineering team by developing software and infrastructure solutions.

Responsibilities Develop and improve internal toolsets that directly support the Sales Engineers, improving their ability to quickly deliver VAST value to our customersAutomate tasks involved in the VAST sales and delivery processManage infrastructure supporting critical web-based applicationsMaintain infrastructure supporting Docker-based applicationsDevelop and maintain internal and external facing applications built on various technologies such as Node.JS, Angular, SCSS, GraphQL, MongoDB, Docker, AWS ECS (and related services such as S3, ALB, EC2, SSM, etc) Skills U.S. citizenship is required to ensure compliance with legal and security clearance obligationsExperience with managing AWS infrastructure and services such as ECR, ECS, ALB, S3, EC2Experience with software development practices and at least one programming language (JavaScript is preferred, but not required)Linux/Unix/Windows shell scripting experienceExperience with IP-based networking and related technologies / services such as DHCP, DNS, multicast, VLANs, LACP, IP subnetting, and routing protocolsExperience writing technical documentation, both for internal engineers and external customersExperience in developing, integrating, or utilizing AI-driven agents for code generation, testing, or infrastructure automationExperience with code repository systems such as GitLabExperience with infrastructure-as-code and infrastructure automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or PuppetExperience with web-based technologies such as HTML, CSS, WebSockets, REST APIs, SOAP, XML, JSONUnderstanding of common web-application frameworks such as Angular, React.JS, Bootstrap Benefits Full-timeRemote Company Overview VAST Data offers an AI Operating System that integrates storage, database, and compute engine capabilities into a single software platform.
