Data Architect

Salary: £85,000 - 85,000 per year

Requirements

• In-depth experience of data modeling for both NoSQL and relational databases, including structured and unstructured data environments.
• Strong experience of AWS cloud platforms and NoSQL technologies (e.g., DynamoDB).
• Knowledge of data lineage, metadata, and traceability tools (e.g., Solidatus).
• Understanding of system integrations, including API-based workflows and data exchange patterns.
• Experience defining logical/physical data models, NoSQL data modeling, and data governance standards.
• Certifications in data architecture, cloud platforms, or data governance are advantageous.
• Must hold active SC security clearance or be fully eligible for the SC Security Clearance vetting process.

Responsibilities

• Define and design data models, data flows, and data lifecycle processes across multiple integrated systems.
• Create and manage NoSQL data structures and integration processes.
• Collaborate with technical teams, data governance groups, and senior stakeholders.
• Ensure data structures, documentation, and processes support business goals.
• Document data integration specifications and manage data governance standards.
• Conduct data lineage and metadata management activities.
