How many job listings are already dead when you click apply?
Some listings that job boards are actively advertising today already lead nowhere. JobiQueue follows the apply link on listings its crawlers saw within the last seven days and records how many return a gone status or a page saying the role is closed. The measurement is of live board inventory, not of stale archives.

How long do remote jobs actually stay posted?
Most remote listings disappear within days, but a long tail stays open for over a month. JobiQueue measures this directly from ingestion timestamps rather than employer surveys: we record when a listing first appears and when it was last seen, and report the distribution of how long roles remain continuously listed.

Some listing problems can be caught without reading a word of the description: placeholder company names, all-lowercase employer fields, urgency patterns in titles, and missing apply destinations. A ghost job is a real company advertising a role it is not actively filling. A scam job is someone trying to extract money or personal data from you. They feel similar when you are reading a listing, but they leave different traces, so JobiQueue scores them as two separate signals rather than one trust number.
