Requirements

• We look for several years of experience in data center environments and the deployment and use of physical security systems and technologies.
• We look for several years of experience with enterprise-scale physical security systems, including access control, CCTV/video, PSIM, key management, network, and application security.
• We look for several years of experience on a Security Operations team, including coordinating responses to security incidents and managing security systems applications.
• We require extensive knowledge of physical security technology, risk assessment methodologies, investigations, regulations, applications, and network administration.
• We require solid project management skills to manage mid-scale in-life projects and technical security projects.
• We look for several years of experience configuring Video Management Systems applications.
• We look for several years of experience configuring Key Management Systems applications such as Traka and Deister.
• We look for experience managing suppliers and contracts, especially technicians performing site services.
• We require strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• We require the ability to apply systems knowledge to resolve operational issues.
• We require expertise in reading blueprints and schematics.
• We require knowledge of Microsoft and Unix operating systems, SQL databases, Microsoft Office products, and electrical engineering.
• We require the ability to design and deliver comprehensive physical security solutions.
• We require strong customer service skills and presentation skills for both management and technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• We administer and manage access control, CCTV, PSIM, and key management system applications.
• We maintain physical security compliance with internal policies, customer, legal, and risk requirements.
• We manage physical security audits, incidents, and investigations.
• We troubleshoot physical security applications and technologies.
• We serve as subject matter experts for access control, CCTV, PSIM, and key management technologies for sustaining and new installations.
• We own and manage security equipment at our facilities to ensure efficient functionality through testing, monitoring, and preventative maintenance.
• We maintain comprehensive pre- and post-installation documentation for security equipment.
• We review and update security systems layouts as modifications occur.
• We consult on system enhancements and upgrades by benchmarking performance and applying best known methods.
• We participate in security task forces, suggest system changes and improvements, and manage equipment inventory.
• We coordinate with security vendors, other departments, and internal customers to support installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repairs.
• We manage physical security performance testing and inspection activities.
• We compile data and report findings to management.
• We ensure security standards are applied appropriately, including reviewing planned and ongoing security installations.
• We review construction drawings and blueprints and provide pre-construction guidance to ensure compliance with security specifications and customer requirements.
• We plan and execute project tasks related to the responsibilities above.
• We work a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern covering days, nights, and weekends, with 12-hour shifts.
