Salary: £30,000 - 30,000 per year
Requirements
- We require a full driving licence.
- We require knowledge of ITIL practices and a demonstrable understanding of the ITIL Service Management framework.
- We require an Advanced Level Qualification.
- We require experience providing Service Desk operations in a multi-site, nationwide service environment.
- We require experience delivering quality services in compliance with service agreements and performance targets.
- We require a demonstrable understanding of ChromeOS and Windows 10/11 operating systems.
- We require experience using ServiceNow or an equivalent ticketing system.
- We require an appreciation of the ISO/IEC 20000 quality standard.
- We require experience working in a SOX-compliant and ISO/IEC 20000-accredited organisation or function.
- We require excellent application and technical knowledge, with the proven ability to learn new and complex software applications.
- We require strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with staff and management.
- We require a good understanding of customers business operations and a detailed understanding of their key applications and services.
- We prefer ITIL Practitioner or Foundation certification.
- We prefer one or more professional qualifications from leading solution providers such as Microsoft, Cisco, SDI, Google, or similar.
Responsibilities
- We contribute to the services of a nationwide network of Service Desk specialists and ensure successful resolution and fulfilment of requests across 1st and 2nd tier applications, hardware, audio-visual equipment, desktop operating systems, mobile devices, and printers.
- We identify impediments affecting the efficient delivery of applications and services and determine and execute appropriate mitigation or resolution measures.
- We reduce the impact of service-affecting incidents and problems by ensuring an appropriate and timely response to reported issues.
- We ensure accurate recording of service requests and incidents, including correct categorisation and notation for timely and relevant reporting.
- We provide desk-side and remote assistance as required.
- We share responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the Service Desks 2nd tier operations and ensure services meet or exceed service agreement standards.
- We share responsibility for 2nd line incident resolution, request fulfilment, field services, desk-side support, and end-user computing.
