Customer Identity and Access Management Consultant

Salary: £60,000 - 60,000 per year

Requirements

• We have 3 years commercial experience in Identity & Access Management or Customer Identity & Access Management.
• We have a strong understanding of authentication, authorisation, federation, and modern identity concepts.
• We have hands-on experience with CIAM platforms such as Okta, ForgeRock, Ping Identity, Transmit, or Azure AD B2C.
• We have experience delivering technology solutions in client-facing or consulting environments.
• We can communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• We understand GDPR, UK Data Protection requirements, and their impact on customer identity solutions.
• We have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• We have experience managing multiple priorities and workstreams.
• Exposure to Zero Trust, adaptive authentication, API security, or wider identity security frameworks would be advantageous.
• Experience integrating CIAM platforms into enterprise environments is desirable.

Responsibilities

• We design and implement Customer Identity & Access Management (CIAM) solutions.
• We work with clients to translate business and customer experience requirements into scalable technical designs.
• We deliver modern digital identity solutions that support large user populations.
• We collaborate with architects, engineers, and business stakeholders across complex programmes.
• We advise clients on CIAM best practices, regulatory requirements, and emerging identity trends.
• We explore modern authentication technologies including biometrics, passwordless authentication, and AI-driven fraud detection.
• We support the delivery of digital identity and IAM projects across a range of industries.
• We contribute to innovation, new service offerings, and the growth of the wider CIAM practice.
