Information Security Senior Accreditor

Salary: £68,000 - 108,000 per year

Requirements

• We require proven expertise in information security GRC or accreditation processes.
• We require a strong understanding of information security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, CREST, and CAF.
• We prefer experience or understanding of the software development life cycle.
• We require strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• We require experience in the technology sector or a related field.
• We require excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• We require strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
• We require the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• We manage end-to-end information security accreditation and assessment activities.
• We assess accreditation applications, review supporting documentation, and make risk-based decisions.
• We provide expert guidance on information security best practices and compliance requirements.
• We support and enforce adherence to recognised information security standards such as ISO 27001.
• We operate independently while managing workload, priorities, and stakeholder expectations.
• We communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, explaining accreditation outcomes and rationale.
• We contribute to the continuous improvement of our accreditation processes.
