Remote Senior Penetration Tester

Salary: £70,000 - 80,000 per year

Requirements

• 4+ years hands-on penetration testing experience
• Current CRT qualification or willingness to obtain
• Mastery of security testing tools
• Technical understanding of technologies, security threats, and trends
• Familiarity with relevant security bodies and standards
• Strong ability to articulate business risks from vulnerabilities
• Excellent report writing and client presentation skills
• Desire for continuous learning and skill development
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Eligibility to work in the UK and obtain Government clearance (ILR required)

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality infrastructure, application, and cloud security penetration tests
• Collaborate with client teams to identify and address potential vulnerabilities
• Research and analyze new and emerging attack vectors
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and unauthorized host discovery
• Translate findings into actionable recommendations
• Produce high-quality technical reports outlining risks
• Support clients during ongoing security incidents
• Create and maintain testing tools, methodologies, and policies
• Develop internal documentation for meaningful reporting
• Author thought leadership materials and marketing content
