Remote Lead Data Engineer

Salary: £60,000 - 100,000 per year

Requirements

• We are looking for a Lead Data Engineer with strong experience in data strategy, architecture, engineering, insight, and governance.
• We need someone with hands-on experience designing and building ELT/ETL pipelines.
• We require experience optimising cloud-based data platforms, ideally on AWS.
• We are looking for someone who can create data models and infrastructure for segmentation, predictive modelling, and reporting.
• We need experience using BI tools such as Looker.
• We are seeking a candidate who can work fully remote and is based in the UK.

Responsibilities

• We will own our companys data strategy, platform, and roadmap.
• We will lead on data strategy, ensuring scalability, governance, and cost-efficiency.
• We will design and build ELT/ETL pipelines and optimise our cloud-based data platform on AWS.
• We will create data models and infrastructure to support segmentation, predictive modelling, and reporting.
• We will enhance stakeholder access to insights through Looker and other BI tools.
• We will drive performance optimisation across our entire data estate.
• We will collaborate with stakeholders across marketing, product, and risk to support smarter decision-making.
