Remote Senior Node.js Developer (UK)

Salary: £63,000 - 103,000 per year

Requirements

• We require 5+ years of professional Node.js development in production environments.
• We require expert-level understanding of asynchronous programming, event loops, streams, and the Node.js runtime.
• We require deep experience with TypeScript in production codebases.
• We require strong command of RESTful API design, authentication patterns such as OAuth 2.0 and JWT, and API security best practices for enterprise environments.
• We require proven experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, query optimization, data modeling, and understanding the performance implications of schema decisions at scale.
• We require proficiency with Git workflows, code review practices, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
• We require solid understanding of containerization, cloud services, and infrastructure-as-code principles.
• Salesforce development experience, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, or Salesforce API integrations, is highly preferred.
• Experience building or contributing to Salesforce ISV products is highly preferred.
• Vue.js front-end development experience, particularly with Vue 3 Composition API and state management, is highly preferred.
• Experience working in B2B SaaS companies serving enterprise customers with strict compliance requirements is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with DevOps/DevSecOps toolchains and practices in the Salesforce ecosystem is highly preferred.

• We build high-performance backend services and APIs powering enterprise-grade SaaS applications.
• We build scalable, secure Node.js microservices and integrations within the Salesforce ecosystem.
• We build modern front-end experiences using Vue.js and TypeScript for enterprise users.
• We build CI/CD pipeline tooling, automation frameworks, and developer productivity infrastructure.
• We build real-time data processing and event-driven architectures handling sensitive enterprise data at scale.
• We work directly with engineering leadership, product managers, and the CEO.
• We own significant parts of our architecture and ship production code that enterprise customers depend on daily.
• We own systems end-to-end and contribute to a long-term, full-time engineering team.
