Audio Visual Support Engineer

Salary: £37,000 - 40,000 per year

Requirements

• Proven track record in an audio-visual service engineer role
• Experience with commercial audio visual and videoconferencing systems
• Experience with fault-finding audio-visual systems
• Knowledge of Crestron, Extron, QSC switching and control systems
• Knowledge of videoconferencing systems such as Microsoft Teams Room, Google Meet, and Cisco
• Knowledge and experience of Barco ClickShare
• Excellent PC skills, including experience with Crestron Toolbox, Extron Global Configurator, and audio DSP software such as Biamp and QSC
• Ability to read and comprehend technical documents, including system schematics
• Ability to interact with customers and colleagues in a professional and courteous manner
• Effective time management and attention to detail with a good memory
• UK driving licence
• Be no more than an hours commute to the Woodley/Twyford area
• Hold SC Clearance or be prepared to undergo SC Clearance vetting

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventative and remedial maintenance on a wide range of audio visual and videoconferencing installations in commercial and Government buildings
• Travel to client sites within London and the Southern Counties, with occasional national coverage
• Plan, arrange, and attend service visits
• Provide remote technical support
• Update equipment and maintain accurate service records
• Produce service reports
• Respond to service call-outs

We are offering a field service role based from our main office in Woodley, working Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm. The role comes with a salary of £37,000 to £40,000 per annum plus a fully expensed company vehicle, including fuel for private mileage.
