Salary: £55,000 - 65,000 per year
Requirements
- We require strong hands-on experience with ASP.NET MVC and C#.
- We require proven experience delivering software projects within the energy sector.
- We require evidence of working on ongoing, business-critical or enterprise-scale software projects.
- We require strong experience with Postgres and/or Azure SQL.
- We require experience with Azure cloud services, including Azure Functions.
- We require a solid understanding of CI/CD processes, ideally using Azure DevOps.
- We require strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- We require excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- We require the ability to work effectively within Agile development teams.
- We consider experience with Azure App Services and Azure Service Bus desirable.
- We consider experience working in Scrum or Kanban environments desirable.
- We consider knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript desirable.
- We consider experience with data-heavy or operational systems in utilities or infrastructure sectors desirable.
Responsibilities
- We develop, maintain, and enhance applications using ASP.NET MVC and C#.
- We deliver scalable, secure, cloud-based solutions within energy-focused environments.
- We work with Postgres and Azure SQL to optimise database performance and structure.
- We build and maintain serverless applications using Azure Functions.
- We support and improve CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- We collaborate closely with senior developers, DevOps engineers, QA teams, and stakeholders.
- We participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- We contribute to architectural discussions and technical decision-making.
- We work across long-term, continuous delivery projects with evolving client requirements.
