<p><strong>Key Purpose of the Job: </strong>As part of our growing software development team, we are seeking an experienced and motivated <strong>Software Engineer II, Applications</strong>.&nbsp; The Software Engineer works on a wide and diverse range of projects including desktop and mobile music creation and host applications, plug-ins and virtual instruments. Familiarity with music technology hard and software will ensure that the Software Developer understands the technical requirements and challenges of our products and solutions.</p>

<p>&nbsp;<strong>Essential Functions: </strong></p>

<ul>

<li>Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or similar education</li>

<li>Several years of working experience in application software development</li>

<li>Commitment to writing clean, maintainable code within an established architecture, following defined coding standards</li>

<li>Excellent object-oriented C++ programming skills</li>

<li>Experience developing with a cross-platform software framework</li>

<li>Experience implementing connections to remote server and cloud APIs</li>

<li>Proficiency with software development tools (Visual Studio, Xcode, Git, CMake, Jira / Confluence)</li>

<li>Fluent German and English language skills</li>

<li>Good communication skills</li>

<li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills</li>

<li>Ability to work alone and as part of a team</li>

<li>Excellent time, task and resource organisation skills</li>

<li>Willing to take responsibility and be the driving force of a project</li>

</ul>

<p><strong>Desirable Qualities: </strong></p>

<ul>

<li>Familiarity with a cross-platform software framework such as Qt or JUCE</li>

<li>Knowledge of digital audio workstation (DAW) software</li>

<li>Knowledge of VST/AU plug-in technologies</li>

<li>Background in music or music production/audio technology</li>
