Cloud Architect

Salary: £18,000 - 21,000 per year

Requirements

• Strong experience with Linux (RHEL/Debian)
• Certified in AWS or Azure
• Experience building complex, multi-account environments
• Familiarity with large-scale compute workloads, MPI libraries, and job scheduling
• Knowledge of storage optimization (Lustre, NetApp) for high throughput
• Experience with security tooling (SIEM, EDR, Vault)

Responsibilities

• Act as the authority on Linux security within the team
• Ensure impenetrable OS configurations and kernel optimization
• Seamlessly integrate with legacy Unix systems where necessary
• Combine the robustness of Linux/Unix with cloud scalability and HPC
• Participate in the teams on-call rotation
• Take full responsibility for the outcome of projects
• Work as part of an autonomous, multi-disciplinary team
