Field Service Engineer

Salary: £25,000 - 47,500 per year

Requirements

• Experience as an engineer on MFD printers
• IT knowledge with the ability to network devices and set up scanning functions
• Excellent customer service skills with prior customer-facing experience
• Experience working in a target-driven environment
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Willingness to undergo training on new product lines, such as Laptops and PCs

Responsibilities

• Conduct service visits to address reported calls and maintain high service support standards
• Respond promptly to customer service requests for the repair of business equipment
• Perform fault diagnosis and implement effective repairs through adjustments, cleaning, or spare parts replacement
• Carry out preventative maintenance as per manufacturer guidelines and service management recommendations
• Communicate effectively with customers, providing detailed reports on work completed
• Install equipment sold by the company and ensure optimal performance to customer satisfaction
• Provide training and guidance to customers to maximize equipment efficiency and prevent operational errors
• Manage inventory of spare parts and consumables effectively to support service operations
