Responsibilities

• We lead and coordinate user research across multiple delivery teams.
• We take ownership of research for a dedicated product area within the payments programme.
• We plan, design, and execute end-to-end research activities.

• We work closely with Product Owners and delivery teams to define research priorities.
• We engage and influence senior stakeholders across government programmes.
• We present clear, actionable insights to support decision-making.
• We translate research findings into tangible service improvements.

We are hiring an experienced User Researcher to join a high-profile Government and Public Sector digital payments programme. This is a fully remote contract role with an initial term through 30 September 2026 and the potential for 6-month rolling extensions. The position sits inside IR35 at a rate of £520 per day. You will work in a complex, large-scale public sector environment, helping us design services around real user needs and deliver measurable outcomes for citizens while collaborating across agile teams and senior stakeholders.
