Security AI Engineer

Salary: £70,000 - 85,000 per year

Requirements

• We have worked directly in security operations or built automation for security environments.
• We have experience building AI agents or agentic AI systems applied to security use cases.
• We have strong software engineering skills, ideally in Python.
• We have proven experience in SOC, SecOps, incident response, or security engineering environments.
• We ideally have experience building security automation, SOAR workflows, detection/response automation, or similar systems.
• We have knowledge of agent orchestration frameworks and MCP.
• We have experience taking AI or automation solutions from proof of concept into production in a security context.

• We design and build agentic security agents.
• We develop AI-driven solutions for SOC, incident response, and security automation.
• We build integrations with security and operational tooling.
• We work with modern agent orchestration frameworks and MCP.
• We contribute to self-healing infrastructure and automated remediation capabilities.

We are hiring a Security AI Engineer for a 6-month contract with the chance of extension, outside IR35, and fully remote. We are building an exciting programme focused on autonomous security agents and next-generation AI-driven security capabilities at the intersection of AI and cyber security. Our work centers on investigating security events, reasoning across complex environments, supporting incident response, and driving automated remediation, with an emphasis on applying agentic AI to real-world security operations.
