Service Designer / Transition Lead

Salary: £51,000 - 54,000 per year

Requirements

• Proven experience in Service Design / Service Transition roles
• Strong understanding of ITIL / ITSM frameworks
• Ability to lead and coordinate Design, Governance, Business Change, and transition activities
• Experience creating governance artefacts: SHLD, RACI, RTM
• Knowledge of process flow diagrams for ITSM processes (e.g. incident and change management)
• Experience delivering service readiness in large transformation programmes
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Background in telecoms or large-scale enterprise environments preferred
• Active SC Security Clearance used within the last 12 months
• Experience with tools such as ServiceNow (desirable)
• Exposure to Network / Infrastructure services (desirable)
• Experience working with suppliers and third-party vendors (desirable)

• Design and govern the compliant Service Model aligned with contractual obligations
• Coordinate business change and transition activities
• Create and maintain governance artefacts such as SHLD, RACI, and RTM
• Develop process flow diagrams for ITSM processes
• Ensure service readiness for large transformation programmes
• Collaborate with stakeholders to manage expectations and drive adoption
