Salary: £65,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements

• Microsoft Fabric is essential
• Azure Data ecosystem experience
• Lakehouse architectures and Data Factory experience
• Python, PySpark, and Spark SQL experience
• Proven hands-on delivery in this technology stack

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines and data models in Fabric, including Data Factory, Notebooks, and Spark
• Write high-performance Spark SQL, T-SQL, Python, and PySpark code
• Manage ingestion, transformation, and loading from multiple sources
• Translate stakeholder requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Mentor team members and help establish engineering standards, security, and governance
• Use AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, and Fabric Copilot

We are looking for a passionate and driven Senior Data Engineer to join our growing team and help build a modern Microsoft Fabric data platform. This is a hands-on role within our Azure ecosystem, focused on scalable data pipelines, Lakehouse solutions, and analytics models.
