Salary: £70,000 - 75,000 per year
Requirements
- Proven experience delivering IT services to multiple Tier 1 UK Financial Services or similar organisations.
- Proven experience managing projects with significant scale and complexity in regulated environments through the full project lifecycle with internal and/or external clients.
- A track record of consistently delivering projects on time, on budget, and to high quality.
- Strong business analysis, project scoping, and estimating experience.
- Good understanding of project management methodologies, governance procedures, and the software development lifecycle, with demonstrable experience applying agile and waterfall project management principles successfully.
- Experience managing UK-based multi-site projects leveraging both UK-based and globally dispersed project teams.
- Strong familiarity with project management and software development tools, methodologies, and best practice.
- Experience producing required content for successfully billing customers.
- Ability to communicate effectively externally and internally at all levels.
- Strong influencing, negotiation, and supplier management skills.
- Ability to adapt communication, engagement, and leadership approach to the audience.
- Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to plan and manage a complex workload and meet deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to be both hands-off and hands-on depending on circumstances.

Responsibilities
- Produce and maintain clear project schedules, track progress, and adhere to established company ITIL and ISO 27001 processes.
- Deliver projects in accordance with contract terms, seeking legal guidance where appropriate in consultation with the client success manager, and identify, escalate, and support contractual issue management when required.
- Agree project quality standards and processes with customers and stakeholders, ensuring outputs and services meet or exceed defined standards.
- Identify resource requirements against business needs and the project plan, and bid for resources early in the planning cycle.
- Implement program and project risk and issue management, engaging appropriate stakeholders to ensure effective ownership and action, and escalate in a timely manner where required.
- Implement change management, ensuring effective ownership and action as required.
- Deliver timely, accurate, and comprehensive progress reports and communications to provide full project visibility to stakeholders.
- Organise project reviews and ensure lessons learned are incorporated into continuous improvement activities.
- Build and manage relationships and dependencies across the delivery team, clients, partners, and suppliers.
- Clearly identify and manage supplier and partner deliverables and associated contracts, taking appropriate action to ensure deliverables are met.
- Create a trusting team environment with open communication, clear individual and collective responsibilities, and full engagement and support.
- Provide supervision for other project management resources within a larger program of work.
- Make proactive suggestions to the Leadership Team to improve delivery and associated processes.
- Share knowledge with the team and colleagues to support succession planning activities.
- Support the Business Development team in developing business growth opportunities.
- Perform other reasonable duties as required from time to time.
- Oversee the successful execution of software projects from start to finish, managing multiple projects concurrently and working closely with clients to deliver on time and on budget.
