Work options: Remote Team works typical business hours based in Eastern Time Zone Full Stack Engineer, External Data AnalyticsLocation: Remote, EST work hours required Type: Long term temporary contract Pay Rate: $65 to $75 per hour, depending on experience Level: Mid-level About the RoleWe are seeking a Full Stack Engineer to support the design, development, and reliability of enterprise analytics platforms used for mission-critical operational reporting, real-time telemetry, and post-event analytics.
This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer with strong AWS cloud experience, full stack development skills, and a background working with scalable data pipelines, event-driven architectures, APIs, and analytics dashboards.
The engineer should be comfortable contributing across backend services, data platforms, front-end applications, automation, and observability.
The ideal candidate is technically curious, collaborative, self-driven, and able to communicate clearly with engineering, product, operations, and security stakeholders.
Key ResponsibilitiesSoftware Solutioning and DesignDevelop a strong understanding of business processes and operational analytics needsCollaborate with lead engineers and architects to evaluate feature requests and support sprint planningParticipate in peer code reviews and design reviewsProvide clear technical input on solution approach, tradeoffs, and effortDesign and ImplementationBuild and enhance scalable enterprise analytics platformsDevelop cloud-native data architectures, telemetry pipelines, APIs, and reporting systemsImplement secure, scalable full stack solutions across backend services, data platforms, and front-end analytics applicationsSupport end-to-end data workflows including ingestion, transformation, service layers, and dashboardsApply established architectural patterns, automation standards, and observability practicesEnsure systems are designed for scalability, data integrity, availability, and reliabilityIntegrate monitoring, telemetry, and operational readiness into platform componentsDevelop and maintain automated end-to-end and UI testing frameworks using PlaywrightSupport CI/CD integration for automated testing and deployment workflowsTechnical Contribution and Engineering ExcellenceHelp solve complex technical problems and improve system designPromote best practices in secure system design, automation, performance culture of ownership, accountability, documentation, and operational excellenceRequired Qualifications3 or more years of experience designing, building, and supporting scalable cloud-native applications, data pipelines, or analytics platforms1 or more years of experience developing modern front-end applications using TypeScript and ReactHands-on coding and scripting experience with Python, JavaScript, React.js, and Node.jsStrong knowledge of AWS cloud infrastructure and distributed systemsExperience with AWS services such as Lambda, SNS, SQS, S3, Step Functions, EC2, ECS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, and DynamoDBExperience building APIs and data processing systems using backend technologies such as Node.js, preferably TypeScript, and PythonExperience with data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration pipelinesExperience building responsive, secure, and high-performance user interfaces using TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSSFamiliarity with asynchronous programming and event-driven architecturesUnderstanding of data modeling and transformation using AWS services such as Glue, Lambda, Redshift, Athena, and S3Experience with automated testing frameworks, especially Playwright for end-to-end and UI testingExperience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as AWS CDK, CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CLIStrong focus on scalability, data integrity, reliability, and quality engineering practicesExcellent analytical, conceptual, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skillsAbility to prioritize and execute work in a
