IT Service Desk Engineer

Salary: £20,000 - 32,000 per year

Requirements

• Active or recently lapsed NPPV3 clearance (essential)
• Proven experience in a Service Desk / 1st & 2nd Line Support role
• Windows 10 / Windows 11 proficiency
• Microsoft 365 (Office, Outlook, SharePoint) experience
• Familiarity with Active Directory & Exchange
• Experience with Intune and/or SCCM
• Understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Configuration)
• Experience using ITSM tools (e.g. Assyst or similar)
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Full UK driving licence

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st and 2nd line technical support to internal users
• Assist with desk-side, remote, and walk-up IT support duties
• Manage and resolve incidents in accordance with ITIL processes
• Use ITSM tools to track and manage support requests
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of desktop technologies and systems
• Ensure security protocols are adhered to given the sensitive nature of the role
