Java Developer - SC Cleared - Guildford

Salary: £60,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements

• Strong Java development skills
• Experience with cloud services
• Familiarity with RedHat/Kubernetes
• Knowledge of unit testing
• DevSecOps awareness using tools like Tekton, ArgoCD, SonarQube (desirable)
• Experience with Red Hat Openshift or Kubernetes (desirable)
• Proficiency in Quarkus Framework (desirable)
• Front-end development skills using Angular (desirable)

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality, readable, scalable, and maintainable code using Java and related technologies
• Develop reusable patterns and foster innovation to improve team velocity
• Write unit and automated tests to contribute to quality assurance
• Conduct design and code reviews to ensure adherence to coding best practices, security, and scalability guidelines
• Ensure code is sufficiently documented and share knowledge of implemented solutions
• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and daily stand-ups in an Agile environment
• Collaborate with the scrum team to meet sprint commitments
