Infrastructure Penetration Tester

Salary: £40,000 - 50,000 per year

Requirements

• We require a minimum of 2 years of hands-on industry experience in a penetration testing role.
• We need a strong technical understanding of network and cloud infrastructure.
• We expect knowledge of common vulnerabilities and risk mitigation strategies.

• You must be able to manage your own workflow and timings in a fast-paced environment.
• You should have a drive to develop and progress within the team and the company.
• We value meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• You must have lived in the UK for at least the past 5 years and be willing to undergo security vetting.
• Industry certifications such as OSCP, CRT, or CSTM are desirable.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell is desirable.
• Security Clearance such as BPSS, SC, or DV is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support our team on infrastructure penetration tests, including broader vulnerability assessments and security audits as needed.
• Contribute to clear, professional reports tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Contribute to client debriefs following engagements, explaining findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Stay current with emerging security threats, tools, and industry trends.
• Travel to client sites in the UK when necessary, although this is extremely rare.
• Help improve our methodologies, documentation, tools, and processes.
• Work collaboratively with both our infrastructure and web application teams.
• Manage multiple client engagements effectively.
• Build strong, trusted relationships with clients as a reliable security partner.
