Freelance Web Designer/Developer

Salary: £31,000 - 68,000 per year

Requirements

• We are looking for a hands-on Website Designer / Developer who can confidently take a website from initial brief through to launch.
• We need someone who is technically confident using website platforms and templates.
• We are looking for a strong creative eye.
• Ideally, you will have a portfolio of websites you have personally designed and built.
• You should be comfortable working fairly independently to move the project forward.
• You will need to spend at least half a day per week onsite with us in Birmingham.

Responsibilities

• Build our website using an existing off-the-shelf platform/template.
• Bring creative ideas to the design, layout and overall user experience.
• Upload and format the website content we provide.
• Work with imagery and visual assets to create engaging pages.
• Ensure the site works well across desktop and mobile.
• Test and troubleshoot ahead of launch.
• Make recommendations throughout and contribute your expertise and ideas.

We are creating a brand-new website and need a freelance Website Designer / Developer to help bring it to life. This is a day-rate freelance booking paying £300 per day, with flexibility to work remotely but requiring regular onsite time in Birmingham. The website copy will be written for you, and we want someone who can combine hands-on website build skills with a creative approach to design, layout, imagery and user journey.
