SOX Analyst

Salary: £70,000 - 85,000 per year

Requirements

• Strong, demonstrable experience supporting SOX compliance across IT controls
• Clear understanding of SOX requirements, particularly ITGC and automated control environments
• High attention to detail, particularly across documentation, evidence, and control tracking
• Experience working within listed or regulated business environments
• Confident stakeholder engagement skills across technology, security, and finance teams
• Strong analytical and documentation capabilities, with the ability to structure complex information clearly

Responsibilities

• Support the end-to-end SOX lifecycle, including control design, documentation, testing support, and remediation tracking
• Maintain and enhance documentation for IT General Controls and automated controls, ensuring ongoing audit readiness
• Partner with control owners to guide them through control operation, evidence collection, and remediation activities
• Map and analyse existing IT controls across systems in scope
• Track actions, issues, and remediation items across multiple stakeholder groups, ensuring clear ownership and timely resolution
• Provide clear, concise updates into programme-level and executive reporting forums
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of IT control processes, governance frameworks, and supporting documentation
• Manage workload, priorities, and deadlines independently
