Requirements

• We require active SC Security Clearance for this contract.
• We are looking for strong experience in AWS Cloud administration and public cloud environments.
• We require experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
• We are looking for hands-on experience with Linux administration, including RedHat, Ubuntu, and CentOS.
• We require Windows administration experience, including Windows Server 2012/2019, Active Directory, ADFS, Group Policy, DNS, and trusts.
• We are looking for experience administering SQL Server and MySQL, including Availability Groups, TDE, backup and restore.
• We require experience with SharePoint administration, Cisco/Juniper firewall administration, and load balancer configuration such as BigIP F5 and HAProxy.
• We are looking for scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, YAML, and Python.
• We require experience supporting email systems such as Dovecot, Postfix, spam prevention, and mail routing.
• We are looking for web server support experience with IIS, Apache, and Tomcat.
• We require experience using Ansible and Terraform to build and automate infrastructure.
• We are looking for experience with Nginx and Cloudflare administration.
• We require HSM administration experience.
• We are looking for experience migrating applications and websites to new architectures.
• We require the ability to work collaboratively with external suppliers.
• We are looking for candidates available for a 6 month contract starting as soon as possible in May/June 2026.
• We require the ability to work in a hybrid arrangement from Andover.

Responsibilities

• We administer a new AWS cloud environment, including Nginx and Cloudflare.
• We use Ansible and Terraform to build mail systems and support infrastructure automation.
• We migrate applications and websites to the new architecture in partnership with external suppliers.
• We provide Linux administration across RedHat, Ubuntu, and CentOS systems.
• We support Windows Server, Active Directory, ADFS, Group Policy, DNS, and trust relationships.
• We administer SQL Server and MySQL environments, including availability, security, and backup processes.
• We manage SharePoint, Cisco/Juniper firewalls, and load balancers such as BigIP F5 and HAProxy.
• We write and maintain scripts using PowerShell, Bash, YAML, and Python.
• We support email services including Dovecot, Postfix, spam prevention, and mail routing.
• We provide web server support for IIS, Apache, and Tomcat.
• We administer public cloud services across AWS and Azure, including HSM-related tasks.
• We work closely with external suppliers to deliver a large-scale Government transformation project.

We are a leading global IT transformation provider working on a large-scale Government project. This is a 6 month contract based in Andover with a hybrid working pattern of 3 days per week remote and 2 days per week on-site. The role is outside IR35 and offers pay of up to £450 per day. We are looking for someone available to start as soon as possible in May or June 2026 to join our team and help deliver a complex cloud and infrastructure transformation programme.
