Lead Databricks Engineer

Salary: £68,000 - 108,000 per year

Requirements

• Strong experience delivering solutions on Databricks
• Cloud experience across AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Advanced Python and SQL skills
• Experience leading technical delivery teams within enterprise environments
• Ability to influence both technical and business stakeholders
• Experience mentoring engineers and driving engineering best practice

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of Databricks-based data and ML platforms
• Work closely with clients, internal stakeholders, and Databricks Professional Services teams
• Provide technical leadership across delivery squads and help set the standard for engineering excellence
• Translate business challenges into robust, scalable technical solutions
• Mentor, line-manage, and develop engineers across the wider capability
• Contribute to knowledge sharing, capability development, and technical best practice within our Databricks Centre of Excellence
• Support the continued growth of our Databricks capability across clients and industries
