Salary: £60,000 - 66,000 per year

Requirements

• SC clearance or eligible to obtain it
• Proven hands-on experience with GoAnywhere Managed File Transfer (on premises)
• Strong understanding of secure MFT architectures in closed or segregated network environments
• Ability to integrate with SharePoint and external platforms
• Experience producing and maintaining High-Level Designs (HLD), Low-Level Designs (LLD), and build documentation
• Strong understanding of Critical National Infrastructure (CNI), security controls, and best practices for data transfer platforms
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical teams
• Experience with secure protocols (SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS) and TLS configuration

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure GoAnywhere MFT solutions for on premises
• Validate High-Level Designs (HLD) and produce Low Level Design (LLD) and build documentation
• Deploy, configure, and harden GoAnywhere MFT
• Implement secure protocols such as SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS
• Manage TLS configuration and certificate management
• Control user access, authentication, auditing, and manage automation workflows and scheduling
• Design and implement cross-domain file transfer patterns while ensuring restricted connectivity
• Integrate the solution into core services including multi-domains, role-based access control (RBAC), certificates, logging, and monitoring
• Collaborate with Enterprise teams to configure destination sources, such as SharePoint
• Apply security best practices aligned to CAF and CIS 2, including encryption, least privilege access, logging, and auditability
• Conduct testing and remediation activities as required

We are looking for a GoAnywhere Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team remotely, with occasional workshops in Birmingham. In this role, you will design, build, and configure the GoAnywhere Managed File Transfer product within a highly available Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) environment. We offer competitive rates, expenses, and overtime, and you must be PAYE through an umbrella company.
