Fully Remote AV Field Service Engineer

Salary: £35,000 - 45,000 per year

Requirements

• We would like you to have at least 2 years of previous experience in a professional audio, video, video conferencing, or similar technical role.
• You should be able to install and configure equipment using software tools.
• You should be able to terminate cables to industry standard.
• You should be self-motivated and reliable.
• You should have excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• You should be able to plan and manage your own workload efficiently.
• A current driving licence is essential for this field-based role.

Responsibilities

• We attend client sites and resolve issues in a timely and neat manner.
• We communicate with clients professionally.
• We use our problem-solving skills to find faults and consistently provide high-standard solutions.
• We deliver end-user training after installation of new devices.
• We accurately complete job reports, explain the steps taken, and obtain client sign-off.
• We accurately complete other service records.
• We build relationships with clients.
• We identify sales opportunities with existing clients and feed back to our Sales team.
• We conduct and record site surveys to a high standard.
• We maintain standards of technical excellence within the team.
• We participate in training and development.
