About the Opportunity: The Staff, Systems and Infrastructure Engineer leads agile teams in developing complex systems engineering solutions aligned with long-range objectives.

This role drives the design, implementation, and management of core infrastructure across the enterprise, focusing on scalable, secure, and high-availability solutions.

The position significantly impacts operational continuity by addressing system performance, automating processes, and resolving escalated technical issues. It plays a key role in shaping infrastructure architecture and collaborating with cross-functional teams and vendors.

Responsibilities: • Lead agile teams for large, complex systems engineering projects Consult with business partners on project design and functionalityResearch industry innovations and apply best practicesDesign systems engineering solutions based on long-range requirementsManage the enterprise-wide build of core infrastructurePresent designs to cross-functional leadershipCollaborate with internal teams to analyze and resolve escalated or recurring system issuesDevelop solutions to ensure short- and long-term system functionalityWork with vendors on innovative system solutionsAssist in decomposing product architecture into components and defining architectural specificationsDefine architectural blueprints and analyze system performance for reliability, operability, efficiency, and securityIdentify opportunities for automation to improve operational response timesMaintain up-to-date documentation and automate runbooks where possibleEvaluate products and solutions to address business and technical needsAssess requirement gaps and anticipate risks during the requirements phaseContribute to user story creation in agile environmentsWrite and configure code to meet business and technical requirementsAssist in selecting appropriate programming languages, development standards, and toolsBuild automation scripts for CI/CD and testing processesIndependently implement telemetry featuresWork remotely as permitted Requirements: • 6 years of experience in technology infrastructure engineering or related field, OR bachelor’s degree in a relevant field plus 4 years of related experience Experience designing and implementing Disaster Recovery Solutions in Azure Cloud and VMware platformsExperience with installation, configuration, automation, and monitoring of Cloud Services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)Proficiency administering Microsoft Windows Server (2012, 2016, 2019) and Linux (RHEL, SLES) operating systemsExperience implementing and managing Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS) using Azure Site RecoveryProficiency with automation/scripting languages including PowerShell and Azure CLIExperience supporting Microsoft MSSQL, Oracle, and SAP HANA databasesKnowledge of Storage & Backup solutions such as NetApp and Azure BlobExperience with replication technologies like NetApp SnapMirrorFamiliarity with Identity and Access Management tools including Microsoft Active Directory, Azure RBAC, and Single Sign-OnNetworking knowledge including DNS, DHCP, IP addressing, routing, load balancing, and VPNSecurity experience with Certificate Services, Azure Network Security Group (NSG), and FirewallsAny level of experience with the required skills will be considered Pay Range and Compensation Package: • $121,222 - $180,000 per year Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentivesSome positions may include Regional Pay Zone adjustments and stock equity incentives Benefits & Perks: • Medical, vision, and dental coverage 401(k) retirement planStock purchase plan and company-paid life insurancePaid time off including sick leave, parental leave, family care leave, bereavement, jury duty, and voting leaveShort-term and long-term disability coverageEducation assistance with fully company-paid college degreesCompany discountsMilitary service payAdoption expense reimbursement Eligibility for some benefits depends on job classification
