Technical Solutions Architect

Salary: £90,000 - 90,000 per year

Requirements

• Experience as a Technical Solutions Architect or similar senior architecture role
• Strong experience with outsourced IT services and enterprise-scale infrastructures
• In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms and services (Azure, AWS, IaaS, SaaS, M365)
• Proven track record designing secure, scalable, and highly available systems
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and technical governance skills

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver a cohesive technical architecture and roadmap aligned to business strategy
• Act as Technical Design Authority, leading design governance, review, and approval of IT solutions
• Design secure, resilient, and highly available solutions across cloud, infrastructure, application, and data domains
• Translate complex business requirements into robust technical designs
• Advise senior IT and business leaders on emerging technologies, including cloud platforms, AI, and hyperautomation
• Produce architecture models, technical specifications, and solution documentation
• Drive transition from on-premise and data centre environments to cloud-first digital services
• Promote reuse of existing technical assets, frameworks, and methodologies
