Requirements

• We require AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, or clearly demonstrated equivalent expert-level skill.
• We require Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or clearly demonstrated equivalent expert-level skill.
• Google Professional Cloud Architect is strongly preferred.
• TOGAF 9/10 or equivalent enterprise architecture certification is beneficial.
• FinOps Certified Practitioner is beneficial.
• We require deep expertise in our specialist area, with additional experience in adjacent domains valued in candidate evaluation.
• We require 10+ years in enterprise architecture, infrastructure, or cloud engineering roles.
• We require 5+ years working across multiple hyperscale cloud platforms, with demonstrated depth in at least two of AWS, Azure, and GCP and strong working knowledge of the third.
• We require a proven track record leading technical delivery of enterprise-scale on-premises-to-cloud migration programmes.
• We require deep working knowledge of migration assessment methodology, including the 6 Rs.
• We require hands-on experience leading cutover events for production workloads, including rollback planning.
• We require infrastructure-as-code proficiency, with Terraform as a primary cross-cloud standard.
• We require excellent executive communication and presentation skills.
• We require proven ability to author low-level design and high-level design documentation, and migration runbooks, to a professional services standard.
• We require experience running technical design workshops with senior client stakeholders and multi-vendor delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• We own end-to-end technical delivery of cloud architecture engagements, including design authority, low-level design, migration execution, and post-go-live optimisation.
• We host and chair Architecture Review Board and Technical Design Authority sessions for cloud engagements, owning governance gates, decision records, and design sign-off.
• We architect multi-cloud solutions spanning AWS, Azure, and GCP across compute, storage, networking, and identity.
• We lead migration strategy and execution for on-premises to cloud programmes, including workload assessment, dependency mapping, wave planning, and low-downtime cutover.
• We design hybrid cloud architectures connecting on-premises data centres to cloud environments, including dedicated connectivity, hybrid identity, and hybrid DNS/name resolution.
• We define cloud landing zone and foundation architectures, including multi-account/subscription/project strategy, guardrails, and policy-as-code.
• We advise clients on cloud economics and FinOps, including cost visibility, commitment-based discounting, and rightsizing strategy.
• We define cloud security architecture, including identity federation, network segmentation, encryption, and compliance alignment across all three hyperscalers.
• We lead technical design workshops, present architecture and migration roadmaps to client leadership, and act as the named technical escalation point for delivery teams.
• We mentor other cloud architects and engineers and contribute to our multi-cloud and migration reference architectures.
• We support pre-sales through technical scoping, migration effort estimation, and proof-of-concept design.
• We navigate multi-vendor, multi-cloud complexity confidently and translate it into a clear, risk-managed migration roadmap for clients.
• We communicate cloud strategy and migration risk clearly to both hands-on engineering teams and infrastructure leadership.
• We own migration cutover windows and the associated risk management.

We are World Wide Technology, and we are looking for a deeply technical Enterprise Architect who specialises in cloud and is fluent across AWS, Azure, and GCP. This is a hands-on architecture and delivery role focused on hybrid and on-premises-to-cloud migration programmes, with end-to-end ownership from landing zone design through to go-live. The role is part of our Enterprise Architecture — Cloud & Migration practice, reports to the Manager, ES&A, and is based remotely with client site work as required. Travel is up to 30%, depending on the engagement portfolio. We work across cloud transformation, hybrid connectivity, security, and cost governance, and we regularly value adjacent experience in networking, virtualization, security, and data domains. This is a full-time, salaried Delivery Engineering position.
