SQL DBA / Database Developer

Salary: £45,000 - 50,000 per year

Requirements

• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server in production environments
• Advanced T-SQL and query optimisation skills
• Experience with performance tuning, indexing and execution plans
• Knowledge of high availability solutions (Always On, replication, log shipping)
• Experience with SSIS / ETL workflows

Responsibilities

• Design and optimise SQL Server database architecture
• Develop high-performance T-SQL (queries, stored procedures, functions)
• Diagnose and resolve performance issues, query optimisation and indexing
• Manage SQL Server administration, monitoring and upgrades
• Implement high availability and disaster recovery solutions
• Build and maintain ETL processes (SSIS)
