Requirements
- We need solid experience in an IT-related role with a track record of maintaining Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange.
- We need experience supporting Microsoft 365 and Remote Desktop Services.
- We need strong experience with WAN/LAN and firewalls.
- We need excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical jargon into simple terms for non-technical customers.
- We need a meticulous approach to documentation and a high level of personal accountability.
- We need a flexible attitude and the ability to multitask in a fast-moving environment.
- We need the ability to travel to local client sites occasionally.
Responsibilities
- We lead the management of client systems to prevent outages before they occur.
- We tackle technical issues across WAN/LAN, firewalls, and security protocols.
- We oversee go-live phases to ensure solutions meet the architected specification.
- We conduct assessments to support the design of bespoke client solutions.
- We manage the support queue to meet and exceed service level agreements.
- We collaborate with our Managing Director to research and develop emerging technologies for future projects.
- We act as the final point of internal escalation for complex issues.
- We take personal ownership of the service desks performance and technical reputation.

We are a small, growing company supporting a diverse range of organisations and we are looking for an IT Technical Support Lead to be the technical backbone of our team. This is a hands-on role with no staff management, where you will work closely with our Managing Director, take immediate impact within a team of four, and help shape the long-term health of our client systems. We offer a competitive salary of £32,500 per annum for a 37.5-hour Monday to Friday schedule with no weekends, a competitive pension scheme, a performance-based bonus every six months, 28 days of holiday including bank holidays, one day of remote working per week after training, and a positive, can-do culture where initiative is rewarded.
