Infrastructure Engineer

Salary: £40,000 - 50,000 per year

Requirements

• Active SC Clearance or the ability to undergo clearance (must have lived in the UK for the last 5 years)
• Proven track record of supporting and maintaining Microsoft Windows desktops and servers
• Experience with VMWare infrastructure
• Knowledge of local area networks and security appliances
• Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure or AWS is a plus)
• Experience working in a highly regulated and controlled environment
• Customer-facing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor crucial systems including VMWare infrastructure
• Support Microsoft Server 2022 services such as Active Directory and DNS
• Manage Microsoft Windows 11 desktops and third-party applications
• Update and maintain Anti-Virus software
• Handle basic networking functionalities
• Oversee backup management
