Requirements
- Proven work experience in product management.
- Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.
- Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management.
- Some technical leadership or project management experience with software development and/or testing.
- Solid technical background with understanding of or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to get involved and take a hands-on approach.
- Experience working effectively with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Some knowledge of the IT security industry and software products would be beneficial.
- Must be based in the UK and able to travel to our Sussex office two days per week.
Responsibilities
- Gather customer requirements from Sales, Marketing, and Training teams.
- Define product roadmaps with engineering.
- Prioritize customer requirements to create winning products.
- Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify product gaps, and generate innovative ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience, and drive growth.
- Create buy-in for the product vision within internal engineering and business teams.
- Support Sales and Marketing with customers and key external partners.
- Support Sales and Marketing in developing product pricing and positioning strategies.
- Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes.
- Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact.
- Work closely with engineering teams to deliver with quick time to market and optimal resources.
- Support product launches with the Sales and Marketing team.
- Help Sales and Marketing evaluate promotional plans to ensure they align with product line strategy.
