Senior Software & Cloud Engineer

Salary: £125,000 - 137,500 per year

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Python and Node.js development
• Production experience building APIs, backend services, automation tooling, or operational services
• Hands-on infrastructure as code experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK, or similar
• Experience defining, versioning, and safely deploying infrastructure
• Practical production experience with AWS services such as EC2, RDS, Elastic Beanstalk, S3, IAM, and CloudWatch
• Experience writing Dockerfiles, building images, managing configuration, and troubleshooting containers
• Hands-on Ansible experience for playbooks, provisioning, configuration management, or environment automation
• CI/CD experience with Jenkins and Bitbucket, including build, test, deployment, rollback, and release processes
• Comfortable working in Jira-led Agile delivery environments
• Able to explain how you have personally designed, built, deployed, configured, supported, and troubleshot production systems

• Hit the ground running in a fast-paced contract environment
