IT Support Engineer

Salary: £28,000 - 30,000 per year

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role within an MSP or IT Service Provider
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows environments, and general IT infrastructure
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Experience using MSP support tools, ticketing systems, and remote management platforms
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Extensive networking knowledge and troubleshooting experience is desirable
• Experience with Microsoft Intune, Defender, SharePoint, or Entra ID is desirable
• Exposure to cyber security tools and best practices is desirable
• Microsoft certifications or equivalent technical accreditations are desirable

Responsibilities

• Deliver IT support to clients via phone, email, and live chat
• Take ownership of support tickets and ensure issues are resolved within agreed SLAs
• Maintain high internal KPI standards around responsiveness and efficiency
• Manage client onboarding and offboarding processes
• Support and maintain Microsoft 365, Azure, and client infrastructure environments
• Perform routine maintenance across network, workstation, cloud, and cyber security platforms
• Escalate complex technical issues where appropriate while maintaining ownership of the customer experience
• Deliver a professional, friendly, and high-quality customer experience at all times
• Work collaboratively with the wider team to continuously improve support processes and standards
