Senior Python Developer

Salary: £75,000 - 85,000 per year

Requirements

• Strong Python experience, particularly with asynchronous or distributed systems
• Solid experience building APIs and backend services
• Good understanding of cloud environments (Azure preferred), CI/CD, and deployment
• Experience building and shipping systems used in real-world environments (ideally client-facing or delivery-led)
• Someone who enjoys the craft of engineering, not just shipping code, but building things properly
• A genuine interest in AI and how its shaping modern software development

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of building production-grade systems in an AI-focused environment
• Design and implement APIs and backend services
• Engage in discussions around async processing and scaling solutions
• Help shape deployment, monitoring, and improvement of systems in production
• Collaborate with a small team of engineers, data scientists, and AI specialists
