Requirements
- We are looking for 12-15 years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or infrastructure leadership roles.
- We require proven success delivering DevOps transformation in enterprise environments.
- We require advanced experience with Azure DevOps, including pipelines, governance, dashboards, and integrations.
- We require expert knowledge of Datadog, including APM, logging, tracing, monitoring, and alerting.
- We require strong experience with Terraform, ARM templates, and Bicep.
- We require deep understanding of CI/CD and deployment strategies.
- We require proficiency in PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
- We require a strong understanding of SRE principles.
- We value strong influence in complex, matrix organisations.
- We require excellent executive-level communication skills.
- We require experience working across global teams and cultures.
- We require the ability to manage competing priorities with strategic focus.
- We prefer Azure DevOps Expert or Azure Solutions Architect certifications.
- We prefer Datadog certifications.
- We prefer experience with Agile/SAFe delivery at scale.
- We prefer familiarity with ITIL and change management frameworks.
- We prefer exposure to AIOps practices.
Responsibilities
- We will define and implement a unified global DevOps operating model with clear governance and standards.
- We will lead organisation-wide DevOps transformation and change management initiatives.
- We will partner with TechOps to define clear operational boundaries across teams.
- We will align engineering and product teams around consistent DevOps practices.
- We will deliver an end-to-end DevOps strategy covering IaC, CI/CD, automation, monitoring, and SRE practices.
- We will drive infrastructure as code adoption across all environments.
- We will embed SRE principles into engineering delivery.
- We will standardise engineering practices across regions.
- We will identify and implement automation opportunities across deployment and operations.
- We will reduce manual intervention in release and configuration processes.
- We will design scalable CI/CD pipelines that improve speed and quality.
- We will lead enterprise adoption of Datadog as our observability platform.
- We will define monitoring, alerting, and incident response frameworks.
- We will improve system reliability, uptime, and incident response times.
- We will establish and track DORA metrics across engineering teams.
- We will drive continuous improvement in delivery and operational performance.
- We will build dashboards for DevOps visibility and reporting.
- We will optimise Azure usage and reduce cloud spend through efficient resource management.
- We will improve cost transparency and governance across platforms.
