IT Project Engineer

Salary: £25,000 - 65,000 per year

Requirements

• Certified IT Technician would be an advantage, including CompTIA A+, Network+ and Security+
• A full UK driving licence
• End user compute experience, including Windows 11
• Server knowledge
• Firewall knowledge, including Cisco Meraki and Fortinet
• Networking knowledge, including VLANs, VPNs and SD-WAN
• Security knowledge relating to CompTIA Security+
• Basic information security experience (1 year)

Responsibilities

• Assist with 1st and 2nd line troubleshooting
• Review tender specifications and design basic networks
• Visit sites across the UK to support and install IT infrastructure
• Own BMS IT infrastructure
• Liaise with third-party suppliers, our internal controls team and clients
• Organise and schedule upgrades and maintenance to minimise disruption to others
• Create technical documentation
• Work out of hours when required
