Machine Learning Engineer (MLOps, Python, AWS)

Salary: £90,000 - 90,000 per year

Requirements

• Strong Python skills
• Experience leveraging the AWS stack to move models from development to production
• Strong MLOps experience
• Comfort designing high-throughput APIs
• Experience managing data and implementing solutions
• Experience training, deploying, and supporting non-LLM models
• Experience supporting LLM Services in a production environment
• Strong knowledge of software engineering best practices including TDD and Pair Programming
• Collaborative mindset with mentoring abilities
• Effective communication with senior stakeholders
• Achieved a 2.1 or above in a STEM discipline

Responsibilities

• Lead Machine Learning activities within the Insights and Data Analytics Team from conception to deployment
• Create and scale high-impact models to solve core product challenges
• Define the Machine Learning roadmap from a technical perspective
• Evaluate model architectures and optimize data pipelines
• Ensure that ML features provide actionable insights within the product
• Build the ML infrastructure to enable business iteration and scaling confidently
• Collaborate with a small team and provide technical leadership
