Azure Cloud Engineer

Salary: £60,000 - 60,000 per year

Requirements

• Proven experience transitioning from traditional infrastructure to Azure cloud environments
• Strong background in designing, building, and deploying cloud infrastructure services
• Customer-first mindset with the ability to deliver commercially viable solutions
• Experience in AWS and Google Cloud is advantageous
• Proficiency in Azure services including Azure SQL, Azure Entra ID, Azure DevOps, Azure Container Apps, API Management Services, and Azure Functions
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like ARM, Terraform, and Opentofu
• Knowledge of Automation & CI/CD tools, such as Octopus Deploy and Azure DevOps
• Experience with containerization using Docker and Azure Container Registry
• Understanding of versioning and monitoring tools like GIT and SEQ
• Knowledge of security practices including RBAC and Azure Policies
• Willingness to participate in on-call duties as part of a 24/7 rota

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement cloud solutions using Azure platform
• Build new modules and platforms as part of our cloud migration strategy
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements for cloud projects
• Deliver robust, scalable solutions in a product-centric environment
• Participate in on-call duties for cloud infrastructure support
• Ensure adherence to security and compliance requirements during cloud transitions
