Remote IT Specialist

Salary: £68,000 - 108,000 per year

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or proven experience.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools and services.
• Proven experience in IT system administration and support.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Good knowledge of Veeva or SAP products is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key technical person for our Cambridge site and report to our Head of IT.
• Support the management of our IT infrastructure and ensure the smooth operation of our Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
• Provide user and systems support for our Veeva and SAP products.
• Deliver technical support to our employees both remotely and onsite, including troubleshooting issues.
• Deliver training to improve adoption and efficiency.
• Support onboarding and offboarding of users and devices, including access control.
• Assist in the management, implementation, and maintenance of our IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud-based systems.
• Collaborate to implement and monitor security measures and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Propose new solutions and optimize collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and Zoom.
• Contribute to IT projects, document technical solutions, and support our IT knowledge base.
• Assist with various IT-related tasks and challenges as needed in a growing IT department.
