Lead UI/UX Designer

Salary: £70,000 - 90,000 per year

Requirements

• Strong experience across UI and UX design, ideally in ecommerce or consumer-facing digital experiences
• A standout portfolio showing premium, polished, responsive UI design
• Experience designing ecommerce journeys such as PDPs, PLPs, basket, checkout, navigation, landing pages, or full website redesigns
• Excellent Figma skills, including components, responsive layouts, and design system thinking
• A strong understanding of UX principles, user flows, wireframing, prototyping, and usability
• An eye for detail across typography, spacing, hierarchy, interaction states, imagery, and brand expression
• The confidence to lead design conversations with clients and stakeholders
• Experience working in an agency, consultancy, ecommerce, or fast-paced digital product environment
• Experience working with premium, retail, fashion, lifestyle, beauty, homeware, luxury, or high street brands is highly relevant

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of ecommerce experiences across websites, journeys, and digital products from discovery through to polished, responsive UI
• Work closely with clients, strategists, developers, and project teams to create ecommerce experiences that are visually impressive and commercially effective
• Design high-quality ecommerce experiences across homepages, product listing pages, product detail pages, basket, checkout, account areas, navigation, and campaign landing pages
• Lead UX thinking across user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, information architecture, and conversion-focused improvements
• Create polished UI designs in Figma, building on brand guidelines or helping shape new digital design directions
• Collaborate with developers to ensure designs are feasible, consistent, and delivered to a high standard
• Present design work to clients and internal teams with confidence, clarity, and commercial awareness
• Help raise the standard of design across projects by bringing taste, detail, and strong creative judgment
